The Opportunity

We are seeking a REACh Specialist to join our Chemical Compliance team. This is a key role responsible for ensuring compliance with EU, UK, and global REACh regulations across the group. The successful candidate will manage and maintain chemical registrations, monitor the supply chain, and provide expert advice and analysis to business units.

This position also represents the company in regulatory consortia and industry associations, offering the opportunity for travel within the UK and EU.

Key Responsibilities

The REACh Specialist will:

  • Maintain and complete new, late, and PPORD registrations globally.

  • Liaise with regulatory bodies such as ECHA, HCSC, and Concawe, as well as other consortia.

  • Review exposure scenarios, handle customer and internal queries, and monitor supply chain compliance.

  • Support business lines in understanding and implementing legislative changes.

  • Deliver training on REACh and related chemical regulations.

  • Prepare and monitor annual REACh budgets and performance reports.

  • Maintain compliance IT systems including IUCLID and REACH IT.

  • Support the global chemical compliance system, including SDS and labelling activities.

About You

You will hold a degree or equivalent qualification in a technical discipline, ideally chemistry, and have a thorough understanding of current chemical regulations including REACh and CLP. You’ll be proficient in Microsoft Office and REACh-related IT tools such as IUCLID, REACH IT, and UK REACH. Knowledge of SAP is preferred, and additional language skills such as German or French are advantageous.
