Sales manager Racing Fuels North AmericaReports to:  Race Fuel Senior Sales Manager
Purpose:

 

Develop the sales of racing fuels business in North America to deliver the annual Business Contribution target, develop and deliver the longer term business growth strategy.

2.  Sales & key  Customer Management:

·       Develop a distribution network across the country

·       Develop relationships with key influencers

o    Top teams / top riders / top  drivers

o    Engine tuners & builders

o    Medias

·       Set programs scheme for individuals to join and order ETS fuel through our online platform

·       Maintain strong relationships with key customers

·       Develop deals with series, championship organized, circuits

·       Approaching potential customers to develop new business

·       Day to day management of key accounts and co-ordination of all sales activity through sales team.

·       Make market research to develop sales

·       Support to the increase brand awareness

·       Support development of sales agents & distribution network

 

These may include project management, coordination, relations and negotiations management, and innovative development of opportunities. Key Account Managers work to ensure customer satisfaction, identify opportunities to up-sell, organize and lead periodical account reviews, effectively communicate with all departments to resolve customer issues, maintain a database of current and potential clients, and provide substantial information relating to sales plans and reports as well as report competitor activities and systems.

 

 

 

·       Effective mgt of accounts (per account plan);

·       Allocation of products to sales force;

·       Development of longer term contracts.

·       Develop new sales opportunities

3.  Business Planning & Forecasting:

Business planning

 

·       Quality/accuracy of monthly forecast

4.  Reporting & Key Data Maintenance:

Monitor & report on performance vs. budget,

 

·       Analysis of monthly results (explain variances);

·       Regular reporting (quality/on time).

5.  Product Availability:

Co-ordinate with supply chain, refinery & logistics to ensure product availability in line with stock inventory target, purchasing plans & customer requirements.

 

 

·       Effective management of Racing Fuels stock needs to cover his territory.

6.  Market Activity/Prospecting:

Monitor market activity/developments and identify/execute specific opportunities to grow B.C. and take appropriate action to minimise threats and grow business on US domestic market.

 

·       Market understanding/competitive position;

·       Develop growth strategy options, and execute plans to deliver.

·       Convert new business opportunities (using other resources as needed).

 

 

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a  Sales Executive
  • Minimum 3 years  of experience in a job on the Racing Fuels market
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability and desire to sell
  • A positive, confident and determined approach
  • Resilience and the ability to cope with rejection
  • A high degree of self-motivation and ambition
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Technical background, with experience in fuels appreciated
  • Excellent teamwork skills
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Displaying a high level of constructive critical thinking in cross-functional process analysis and problem resolution for new and existing products.
  • Coordinating and building strong working relations with various internal organizations including; IT, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Product Development, & Operations.
  • Must be able to travel 60% of the time including weekends on racing events.
