Purchasing Manager

Job Type: Permanent / Full Time

Salary: Negotiable Depending on Experience

The successful candidate will manage the existing Purchasing & Procurement Department and manage the purchasing for all Company branches, both in the UK and our international operations.

Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage supplier relationships on behalf of the company.
  • Negotiate costs and delivery lead times with suppliers.
  • Manage the documentation associated with purchase orders.
  • Analysing stock reports and monitor stock levels.
  • Managing the buying of stock from overseas.
  • Overseeing and monitoring contracts with suppliers.
  • Sourcing new suppliers in the UK and Abroad.
  • Liaise with Sales team members regarding their customers’ enquiries and order status.
  • Managing and purchasing all types of PPE and other consumables.
  • Negotiate & establish long term supply contracts such as utilities, insurances and other services.

The ideal candidate will already have a proven track record within purchasing and team management.
